With a background as a Professor of Organizational Economics and an Academic Dean, I’ve spent my career navigating the intricacies of complex educational systems. But beyond the titles, my work has always been about one thing: the ethics of leadership. I help organizations move past 'business as usual' by anchoring their leadership in ethical decision-making and authenticity. My goal is to ensure that integrity isn't just an organizational value, but a lived experience—where leaders show up as their true selves so that trust and character become the heart of the company.
Today, I leverage my experience in institutional and strategic leadership to help organizations bridge the gap between policy and practice. My work with partners like GEICO and Navy Federal Credit Union centers on navigating the delicate balance of governance and culture. I specialize in auditing and refining these systems, ensuring that even the most complex business challenges are met with a steadfast commitment to ethical standards and social responsibility.
My perspective is further informed by my own ventures as an entrepreneur and hotel owner. Owning properties under the Hilton and Holiday Inn Express brands has allowed me to treat the hospitality sector as a practical extension of my research. By developing bespoke employee development programs, I’ve helped clients in hospitality and retail unlock their potential, proving that a values-based approach to human capital is the most effective way to drive long-term growth.
I’ve always maintained that true success isn't simply measured by the final balance sheet, but by the principles that guide us. My methodology centers on collaboration and open dialogue. I don’t just deliver a report, I partner with organizations like the Morehouse School of Medicine to facilitate the difficult, meaningful conversations required to bridge the gap between stated values and daily practice.
My professional life is driven by the same principles that guide my personal life: a belief in the power of ethical leadership to shape a sustainable future. I am deeply committed to mentoring emerging leaders, as I believe the future of global leadership depends on the values we instill today. Whether contributing to scholarly dialogues on ethics or advocating for community-driven change, I am a firm believer that our success is only as meaningful as the positive impact we leave behind. For me, giving back isn't just an extracurricular—it is a core responsibility.
Education & Honor
My approach to leadership is grounded in a rigorous academic foundation. I earned my Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. These programs provided me with the high-level frameworks I use today to help organizations navigate change and build sustainable success.
My intellectual journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas Woman’s University, where I developed a fascination with analytical systems. I later bridged the gap between theory and execution by earning my MBA in Organizational Management from Texas Wesleyan University.
This commitment to lifelong learning extends to my contributions to the field; I am an active member of Emerald Insight and have published my research in peer-reviewed academic journals. Beyond the ivory tower, my leadership was forged in high-pressure environments as a decorated veteran. Serving during Desert Storm, I was honored with the Kuwait Liberation Medal and the Army Commendation Medal—experiences that instilled in me the discipline and integrity that I bring to every client engagement today.
